What Form of Screening Does the Agency Do?

All nannies are required to submit a detailed application. I then personally interview every applicant to assess her or his suitability. Childcare references are checked and comments are carefully recorded. Only candidates that pass my screening process are entered into my database and I will recommend a candidate only if the references and interview indicate that my high standards have been met. A complete background check is performed on every nanny prior to employment. Copies of all background checks as well as applications and resumes are passed on to the family.

What Benefits are Generally Offered to a Nanny?

Some families choose to provide benefits for nannies and others don't. Benefit packages may include such items as holidays, paid vacations, sick days, health insurance, as well as additional pay for additional hours beyond the regularly scheduled hours. However, all packages are negotiated strictly between you and your nanny.

My registration fee for families needing temporary overnight care is $100, and the nightly fee to the agency is $18. Night nannies generally earn at least $15 an hour.
